The Supreme Court Collegium has approved the proposal to appoint five Calcutta High Court Additional Judges as Permanent Judges of the Court.
The following Judges have had their appointment proposals approved:
1. Kesang Doma Bhutia, Ms. Justice
2. Rabindranath Samanta, Shri Justice
3. Sugato Majumdar, Shri Justice
Shri Justice Bivas Pattanayak, as well as
5. Anand Kumar Mukherjee, Justice
The above approval was granted on April 19, 2022.
