The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended the transfer of Chief Justice Satish Chandra Sharma from Telangana to Delhi High Court.

Justice Sharma is currently the Chief Justice of the Telangana High Court and was elevated as a Judge of Madhya Pradesh High Court on January 18, 2008.
Further, he was appointed as a permanent judge on January 15, 2010. subsequently, Justice Sharma was transferred to Karnataka High Court, and eventually assumed charge as the Acting Chief Justice of Karnataka High Court on August 31, 2021.
The judge took oath as Chief Justice of the Telangana High Court on October 11, 2021.
