gangster Chhota Rajan has filed a lawsuit in the Bombay High Court against the streaming platform Netflix and the creators of the series “Scoop.” Chhota Rajan alleges that the series infringes upon his personality rights and is seeking ₹1 as damages.

In his complaint, Chhota Rajan claims that the series portrays his life and exploits without his consent and that it violates his right to privacy and damages his reputation. He argues that his personal story has been distorted and fictionalized for commercial gain without his permission.

Chhota Rajan’s lawsuit seeks compensation of ₹1 from Netflix and the producers of the series for the infringement of his personality rights. The case will be heard by the Bombay High Court, which will assess the validity of the claims made by Chhota Rajan.

The lawsuit highlights the growing concern over the unauthorized use of personal stories and the infringement of personality rights in the entertainment industry. Chhota Rajan’s legal action against Netflix and the creators of “Scoop” aims to protect his rights and seek appropriate compensation for the alleged violations.

Rajan has requested the following prayers:

  1. Permanently remove the trailer of the web series from all platforms, including entertainment and social media platforms.
  2. Permanently prohibit the defendants from exploiting Rajan’s name, image, or personality directly or indirectly, and from infringing upon his personality rights.
  3. Restrict the release of the series or its trailer online or in theaters.
  4. Issue a restraining order against the defendants, preventing them from making any reference to Rajan in interviews or any other form of public communication.
  5. Pay damages amounting to ₹1 or disclose the actual profits generated by the series.
