Chief Justice of India NV Ramana and Justice Hima Kohli at the ceremonial bench stated that Justice NAgeswara Rao will be heading the Internation arbitration center in Hyderabad.
The Chief Justice of India (CJI) NV Ramana remarked that judge Nageswara Rao will be heading the International Arbitration and Mediation Centre (IAMC), Hyderabad after demitting office.
Justice L Nageswara Rao is retiring from office on 7 June.

The CJI was reminiscing over their similar journeys, stating that their practice began from the same place. CJI Ramana shared that he was emotional as he would also demit office soon. However, noted that Justice Rao would keep interacting with them since he would be heading the IAMC.

The centerboard of trust comprises justice Nageswara Rao, the Supreme Court’s Justice Kohli, Chief Justice of the Telangana High Court, Justice Satish Chandra Sharma and Former Supreme Court judge, Justice RV Raveendran.
The IAMC was launched in Hyderabad with a view to facilitating time and cost-effective dispute resolution methods for domestic as well as foreign investors having investments in Telangana and elsewhere in India.
It has been set up in the financial district of Hyderabad in a 16000 sq. ft. area.
The Centre, which aims to achieve the goal of ease of doing business by ensuring effective and speedy dispute redressal mechanisms, is equipped to provide cutting-edge, technologically advanced arbitration and mediation services.
IAMC’s operations are managed by a secretariat and guided by an autonomous governing council consisting of experts in the field of arbitration and mediation from India and abroad.
