Justice AA Nakkiran’s appointment as an additional judge of the Madras High Court has been extended for another year by the Central Government.
On Tuesday, the Department of Law and Justice issued a notice to that effect on its website.
“In exercise of the power conferred by clause (1) of Article 224 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint Shri Justice A.A. Nakkiran, Additional Judge of the Madras High Court to be an Additional Judge of the Madras High Court for a period of one year with effect from December 3, 2022,”

Justice Nakkiran was appointed additional judge of the High Court on December 3, 2020.
