Following a Full Court Meeting on May 20, the Committee for Designation of Senior Advocates named the former Chief Justices / judges of the High Courts.

The Supreme Court of India has given 51 former High Court judges senior status.

After a Full Court Meeting on May 20, 2022, the Committee for Designation of Senior Advocates named 51 former Chief Justices / justices of the High Courts.

With ten designations, the Delhi High Court is at the top of the list, followed by Bombay with eight and Punjab and Haryana with seven.
