Most people wondering what the would-be fees for filing writ petitions before the supreme court or high court, Here is your answer,

Supreme Court

The court fee in the Supreme court of India is Rs. 500. However, if the writ petition is filed in a criminal case, then no court fee is required. The prescribed fees do not include habeas corpus.

The fees vary for each different High court. Information on the court fee for individual High Courts can be found on the concerned court’s website.
